A slow-growing cycad (Dioon edule) with a rosette of stiff, blue-green fern-like fronds on a short trunk, similar to a sago but with a softer, feathery look. Very drought tolerant, cold hardy well below freezing, and long-lived; a collector-grade accent for sun or light shade.
